ABSTRACT
Low Priority Transmission Control Protocol, TCP-LP is a new distributed congestion control
algorithm. TCP-LP provide low-priority service “as compared to the existing best effort” from
the network end points. TCP-LP used to improve the link utilization by utilizing only the
excess network bandwidth. This paper evaluates the behavior of the TCP-LP with regards to the
TCP queue size, delay threshold and round trip time.
