ABSTRACT:
This paper proposes a system which can be used for the training of shooters. The proposed
system is based on image processing technique. This is developed to provide the firer a chance to
remove his basic firing errors. It analyzes shooter’s performance and discovers the reasons for
mistakes. A systematic algorithm helps the firer to improve his firing standard progressively. It
gives the firer a chance to educate him properly before his employment at the place of duty. Step
by step training of the individual keeping in view his result and performance with the weapon
gives the firer a confidence. Target data which is extracted out of the captured image are
calculated. These calculated results are displayed in a graphical form to point out the shooter
about his firing mistakes and suggests the remedial measures accordingly.
