ASSESSMENT STUDY OF GPS BROADCAST EPHEMERIS

The accuracy of real-time stand-alone GPS positioning is largely dependent on the accuracy of

GPS broadcast ephemeris which is not the ideal source for GPS ephemeris, however it is the only

available source for real-time positioning. International GNSS Service-IGS offers different

products for GPS ephemeris (Final, Rapid and predicted) whom are different in their accuracy

and delay time for real-time GPS applications. In this study, the accuracy of GPS broadcast

ephemeris is assessed comparing with different IGS types of GPS ephemeris for GPS week 1299.
